| 9/13/2009 - BURGLARS STRIKE FOSTER`S WESTERN WEAR |
Unknown suspect(s) attempted a roof entry by cutting three holes in the roof, but could not gain access to Foster`s Western Wear at 6409 N. I 35. Entry was finally made by pulling the sheet metal back and cutting a hole in the back wall of the store. The phone lines were cut and no alarm was activated. It appears that the suspect(s) took their time during this burglary. While inside they knocked over shelves and broke glass display cases that were not necessary in taking what they were after. Receipts and other paperwork were rummaged through in the office.
It appears that the suspects knew what they were after due to taking the higher quality merchandise and leaving the lower end merchandise behind.
Items Taken: Montana Silversmith jewelry and watches, Ariat shirts, Cinch T-Shirts and jeans, ostrich wallets, Cinch 96 and Vaquero colognes, exotic boots, saddles, felt cowboy hats, various riding tack, and other western clothing and equipment.
