| 7/26/2010 - AGGRAVATED ROBBERY IN DENTON | On July 26, 2010, the victim was delivering medical oxygen to a resident at 1204 McDonald Street around noon. While he was retrieving documents from his van in the drive, a suspect approached him from behind and hit him on the back of the head with a 2 foot section of wooden dowel about 2.5 inches thick. The victim was stunned and fell to the ground. The suspect was feeling in the victim’s back pocket apparently for a wallet. The victim’s wallet was in the van and the suspect fled on foot without taking anything. The victim turned to see an angled profile of the suspect as he jumped the fence behind 1204 McDonald and ran into the woods. The suspect did not speak to the victim. The suspect was carrying the wooden rod when he went into the woods.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’10" in height, 175 to 180 pounds, in his late 20’s, dark complexion, hair cut into a burr that is just growing out, unknown if any facial hair.
The victim described the suspect’s arms as "defined". He appeared to be in shape and not overweight.
He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with dark jeans or pants and dark colored athletic shoes.

| | 7/20/2010 - CHEVRON AT LILLIAN MILLER AND I-35 SERVICE RD. ROBBED | Robbery occurred shortly before 4:00 am. Suspect is a thin w/m about 5’-10”, in his early 20’s with light colored eyes, wearing Dickies style pants, grey or blue long sleeved shirt, black ski mask, black palmed/white backed gloves, light green and black backpack. A black semi-auto pistol was displayed under the shirt on the suspect’s right side waistband. He removed cash and change from the register and demanded money from the safe. Clerk told him that it was on a time delay. Suspect was calm and told clerk “Have a good night” as he was leaving. No vehicle information is currently available. | | 5/22/2010 - Lewisville Police Department Needs Your Help | The Lewisville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect. On May 22nd, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a Hispanic male robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 966 South Mill Street.
The suspect entered the store, displayed a large knife and jumped the counter confronting the cashier. The suspect demanded money while holding the knife to the cashier. The suspect removed a small amount of cash from the cash drawer and fled the location.

| | 5/22/2010 - Denton Convenience Store Robbed | | On 05/22/10 at approximately 11:33 pm. the suspect entered Johnnie Joe`s convenience store located at 500 N. Bell while covering his head and face with two blue shirts. He pulled a knife from his right pocket and told the clerk to give him the money, threatening to kill him if he didn’t.
Suspect Information: Suspect is described as a black male, 6’00, 200 lbs, well muscled and cut, no tattoos, or jewelry were observed. He was wearing blue jeans, black shoes that were high top style, and black belt with a silver buckle.

| | 4/27/2010 - Lewisville Police Investigate Murder | Around 11:15 a.m. on Monday, April 26th, Lewisville Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Shadow Wood in reference to a body in the roadway. Upon their arrival, they found the body of a deceased female that had been mutilated. She was identified as 44 year-old Maria Santos Corona. Lewisville Police are seeking Jose Fernando Corona, a 49 year-old Hispanic male, in connection with the murder. He is believed to have fled in a 2005 Toyota Sequoia bearing Texas license plate “247-DVH.” The vehicle was later recovered in Bedford, Texas. State and federal law enforcement are aggressively searching for Jose Corona to bring him to justice.

| | 4/26/2010 - Denton Police Search for Suspect in Robbery Attempt | At approximately 3:30 pm. on April 26th, the male victim was walking alone in the 600 blk. of Bernanrd St. when he was approached from the rear by the suspect who attempted to grab the victim`s back pack. The suspect sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray before fleeing north on Bernard St. without the backpack.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years of age , 5`11 and weighing 165 to 170 lbs. His hair is described as a dark colored 3/4 inch long Afro style. The suspect was wearing a black loose fitting t-shirt with a gray colored logo on the front.

| | 4/21/2010 - POLICE ASK FOR YOUR HELP IN IDENTFYING SUSPECT | Denton police seek help to identify a woman who they say has passed numerous forged checks at area financial institutions, including DATCU locations in Denton, Flower Mound, Lewisville and The Colony. The forgeries amount to an estimated $30,000 loss.
Police say the woman is believed to have passed forged checks at other financial institutions in Coppell, Grapevine, Trophy Club and Carrollton.
Police say the woman passed five forged checks at DATCU locations from Feb. 16-18; the checks had been stolen from cars in Carrollton and Grapevine from Feb. 12-15.

| | 3/28/2010 - MAN FOUND SLAIN AT WAREHOUSE COMPLEX IN DENTON | The Denton Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place at 3801 I-35 sometime between Sunday evening March 28th and early Monday morning March 29th. The victim, James Randal Clark, age 53, was found murdered inside his business. The business is located within a multi - warehouse complex that is situated to the west of l-35 just south of U.S. 380 (W. University Dr.). The Denton Police Department is looking for anyone who may have information about the offense or anyone who saw activity during this time frame in the warehouse complex while driving south along the Interstate or service road.

A witness reported seeing a white late 80’s early 90’s single cab unknown make pickup with a headache rack. The rack was described as having horizontal bars with two metal discs on the top of both sides. The discs were flat and not designed to house signal lights. The rack appeared to be homemade.
Police are also looking for the following persons and vehicles of interests. These people may be just witnesses who were in the area and may have information.
White male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’8” to 6’0”, around 160lbs-Skinny, brown medium length hair-1 to 1 ½ inch long, no mustache, goatee about 1 ½ inch long, driving a light to medium blue small SUV, possibly a KIA but unknown, two to five years old. This subject was seen driving through the property at 12:50 am the night of the murder. He stopped and talked to a nightshift warehouseman asking for money so that he could buy gasoline. He was last seen headed towards the I-35 service road but it is unknown if he actually left the property at that time.
Hispanic male, 30’s, sitting in a parked older model beige Chevy short bed pickup with a camper top. The vehicle was described as “junky”. There were no license plates on the bumpers but there was some sort of tag on the dash (described as a Mexican temporary tag).

| | 12/28/2009 - Composite Released in Jewery Store Robbery |

LEWISVILLE, Texas – The Lewisville Police Department is releasing a composite sketch of one of the suspects believed to be responsible for the armed robbery of Harold’s Jewelry Store. The suspect is believed to be a white male, in his mid-30’s, over 6’00 tall, with a medium build, and wearing a black, knee-length Pea coat. This suspect was armed with a handgun during the robbery.
This suspect and his accomplice entered Harold’s Jewelry Store located at 1288 West Main Street in Lewisville, on December 28, at approximately 7:30 a.m. The suspect convinced the store employee to open the door before business hours. The suspect then displayed a handgun and let his accomplice into the store.
The suspects took collectible coins and jewelry from the safe. The value of the items stolen is still being determined.

LEWISVILLE, Texas – The Lewisville Police Department is releasing a composite sketch of a person believed to be responsible for two aggravated robberies that occurred on Monday, December 14, 2009.
In both offenses, the suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens, driving a dark (possibly gray) vehicle.
The first took place around 6 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Old Orchard Lane. A female jogger was attacked by a male subject with a knife. He drug her into a ditch and stole her cellular telephone. The victim fought with her attacker and her screams for help caused him to flee.
The second incident took place about an hour later in a parking lot at 202 East Oak Knoll Circle. A woman was just arriving home when she was confronted by a subject with a knife. He attacked her and stole her wallet. This victim also fought back and was able to take the suspect’s knife away from him, causing him to flee the location.

| | 9/13/2009 - BURGLARS STRIKE FOSTER`S WESTERN WEAR | Unknown suspect(s) attempted a roof entry by cutting three holes in the roof, but could not gain access to Foster`s Western Wear at 6409 N. I 35. Entry was finally made by pulling the sheet metal back and cutting a hole in the back wall of the store. The phone lines were cut and no alarm was activated. It appears that the suspect(s) took their time during this burglary. While inside they knocked over shelves and broke glass display cases that were not necessary in taking what they were after. Receipts and other paperwork were rummaged through in the office.
It appears that the suspects knew what they were after due to taking the higher quality merchandise and leaving the lower end merchandise behind.
Items Taken: Montana Silversmith jewelry and watches, Ariat shirts, Cinch T-Shirts and jeans, ostrich wallets, Cinch 96 and Vaquero colognes, exotic boots, saddles, felt cowboy hats, various riding tack, and other western clothing and equipment. One of the saddles was a custom saddle made by Foster’s that says "Champion 1971 Denton Round Up Club" on the side.

| | 8/19/2009 - POINT BANK ROBBED IN LITTLE ELM |

On August 19, 2009 at approximately 11:16 am, two male subjects entered the PointBank branch, located at 2103 East Eldorado Parkway in Little Elm, Texas. Subject #1 approached a teller and presented a note, threatening to kill her. The teller opened the cash drawer and handed the suspect an undetermined amount of cash. Subject #2 stood a few feet behind Subject #1 during the offense. Upon receiving the cash from the drawer, both subjects exited the bank and left in an unknown direction.
Subject #1 is described as a white or light skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, thin to medium build, short hair, mustache and goatee, and dark eyes. He was wearing a dark colored jacket or sweatshirt, eyeglasses, jeans and a Dallas Cowboys ball cap.
Subject #2 is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, heavy build, possible Mohawk haircut. He was wearing a white t-shirt over a black long sleeve shirt, dark sunglasses, dark colored pants, and a stud type earring in right ear. Possibly has a tattoo on neck and back of right calf.

| | 8/18/2009 - VANDALS STRIKE HICKORY CREEK BUSINESS |

On 08-18-09 at 4:48 am, Hickory Creek Police Officers responded to Blockbuster (4050A FM 2181) on a criminal mischief complaint. Both doors were shattered. The manager arrived and claimed that nothing had been taken from inside. Surveillance camera footage showed the suspect at 1:41 am. walking by the front doors towards the drop box. He had an item in his hand, believed to be a video case. He then walks back by and pulls a pistol out of his right pocket and shoots both doors. He never entered the business. No damages to the inside were found. That same morning the front doors at Wells Fargo in Corinth, across from Blockbuster, had been busted out as well.
The suspect is described as: W/M, early to late 30s (?), clean cut brown hair, blue polo style shirt, khaki cargo shorts and white tennis shoe |

ON THE NIGHT OF JULY 20, 2009, AN OFF DUTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER`S VEHICLE WAS BURGLARIZED IN THE 100 BLOCK OF WHITNEY IN THE TOWN OF HICKORY CREEK. TAKEN IN THE BURGLARY WAS A LEVEL 4 BALLISTIC VEST, POLICE RADIO AND "BDU TYPE" UNIFORM WITH "ICE" (IMMIGRATION & CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT) PATCHES.
